Ideally located in one of Mykonos most fabulous locations, Villa Selene 1 boasts breathtaking views and unparalleled comfort. This 5 bedroom residence combines traditional Cycladic design, top-end luxury and total privacy, providing the ultimate Mediterranean escape for those wishing to go incognito.
Even though this villa is located a quick 15-minute car-ride from Mykonos town, it offers its guests the ultimate escapist experience. Whether it’s the captivating views, the traditional cycladic architecture and finishes or the incredible attention devoted to even the smallest details, this is one villa that will stay in your memory and make you want to come back year after year.
Comfort, style and, above all, fun were the main driving factors when the architects and owner teamed up to produce. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining the classic myconian look, with its simplistically elegant aesthetic, while at the same time ensuring that all modern comforts were discreetly incorporated as well. Each bedroom has its own unique character, as well as its own en-suite shower room. In true Myconian fashion, a lot of the fixtures and fittings are built-in, exactly the way authentic houses from yesteryear were made for the locals.
The house has three levels: a top floor, which contains a master bedroom and its own private veranda (the views from which are incredible). The middle level is where you will find the open-plan kitchen, living room with fireplace and dining room, with enough space for 10 to sit in comfort. FInally the pool-level floor has the remaining 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have double beds and one with two twins (all have their own shower room).
The exterior is where the fun truly begins. At your disposal you will have the perfect space for entertaining, relaxing and just enjoying your stay. Whether you’re sitting in the hot-tub listening to the waves rolling in below, or having a full-on barbeque for 25 people, you will do it with an beautiful backdrop of the aegean sea and all of it’s colours. There are more than 6 different chill-out areas, ensuring you will never get bored of being in the same spot.
Mykonos is renowned for it’s party side as well as it’s natural beauty, so we have created a bar in the surrounding moutaniside for you to use before or after going out on the town. And to top things off, there is a small screening area, perfect for all movie enthusiasts who just want to unwind in front of a big screen. All of the furniture is part of a private collection, imported from Italy, Bali and many old Greek pieces that were recently restored, giving the villa an authentic yet edgy feel.
Our mantra is simple: Live Your Life. And when on holiday, we think this should be done mainly in a horizontal position, sipping a cocktail.
